The WattageWorks™ Generation Management system allows utilities to
enter and track generation schedule data in a flexible data capture and reporting format, in addition to a user's
normal NERC etag creation activities. The system is also capable of interfacing with an Energy Management System (EMS)
and our WattageWorks™ Interchange Scheduling sub-system to enable
dispatchers to effectively optimize generation and manage grid frequency.

Generation Management provides reports showing Net Generation by generator, station (i.e. Energy Center), owner,
region, and Control Area. It also provides for automatic calculation of co-ownerships of generation.
For companies with Control Area responsibility, Generation Management provides the ability to
monitor generation output to more effectively manage assets, as well as the ability to respond to
frequency changes with immediate generation ramp instructions from the Interchange Scheduling sub-system. |
